Hello everybody

I was wondering if any of you Spyderco experts could help me identify an older Spyderco police model that I have.
Here's all that I know about it:
Bought in the 1980's from The Cutlery Shoppe for around $160 US IIRC.
It was supposed to be a limited edition police model with no police markings on the blade.
ATS-34 blade and titanium handle slabs.
Marked made in Seki City-Japan??
Right hand tip-down carry.
Almost fully serrated blade-except for roughly 3/8" near tip.
Does it have a model number?
It was my EDC folder for over ten years:thumbup: and is still in very good shape.
I own two other spydies-an Endura and a small Ladybug and when I checked Spyderco's website I noticed that there is a list of discontinued models no longer available:confused:but I couldn't find my police model.
Does anybody here know anything about my police model and if it's worth anything today?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:)

Given what you've said, you managed to purchase a C07TI Police several years before it was manufactured. ;) :D

On a more serious note, I'm guessing is you're memory's off a bit concerning when it was purchased. Based on your description it's most definitely a serrated edge C07TI Police and they came out in 1992.

Does it look something like this? ;)

I recently snagged this one on eBay for $105, but they usually go a lot higher. I've seen them fetch over $200 many times.

Hello everbody

Thanks for the information regarding my spyderco.
You were right-I was off by a few years about when I purchased it:o

yablonowitz-My blade is exactly like yours except in never came with a serial number?? Yours looks to be almost in mint condition and you got a great deal on ebay:thumbup: for yours.
Mine was an EDC for over 10 years so its got some wear on it.
Thanks everbody for getting me the info I needed :)

It isn't as near mint as it looks. When you have it in hand, you can tell that the swedge on the tip was at least partly sharpened and then ground back to flat, and the blade has been buffed to remove some of the scratches. I'm still trying to find out whether that 003 is a serial number or Collector's Club number. If you got yours early in the run and it doesn't have a number, mine may be a CC rather than serial numbered.
