I bought a G-10 plain-edged Police model (no Boye dent, one liner, and ATS-55) as a Christmas gift for myself.
This is one awesome knife!
I was able to compare the G-10 Police along side the Military and the Starmate--the Starmate just did'nt fit well in my hand and I think the blade is too thick for my tastes.
It was a tough choice between the G-10 Police and the Military, but the Police won out for several reasons:
I like the slimmer handle of the Police, it just felt better.
And I prefer the lock-back to the liner-lock.

Now I wonder why it took me so long to discover the G-10 Police!
Terrific knife!

I carry a SS SE G-10 Police. I love the way this knife carries. It's so thin I hardly notice it. Some people have complained that the SS scale is too slippery, but for me that is what makes removal from my pocket so easy. The Police has a lot of blade; sheeple have freaked at it's presence.

UPDATE: I just traded for a SS serrated Police model (Thanks, SIFU1A!), so that'll make it 3 now...(My other two are an old-style [no liners] G-10 serrated model, and a new-style [Boye dent] Stainless plain-edge model.).

I have one of the titanium / ATS-34 police models, fully serrated. A very nice knife that I have not used. It has seen some pocket time though.

I just became the ecstatic owner of my very first Police model. CF PE. God it is a beautiful knife. I can't believe I have never owned one of these beore this Well, as I said, I now have the one, but it for sure won't be the last C07 for me.

I had a stainless PE that I lost at work, so for Christmas I got myself a Carbon Fiber PE with the VG-10 Blade. I love it

So have you given-up on looking for the Police model that you lost at work?.. (Just think of that poor Police model all-alone, waiting for it's owner to come pick it up...You just CAN'T give-up this easily!).
