I've been looking at a Poliwog VG-10 for some time now. For some reason I think I ought to have one, just not sure why. Thought I'd ask for some feedback from you all.

I love my Poliwog, it’s a special little knife. Feels solid as a tank and fits my hand as a glove.

I have had one for a while now. Its like the little big knife. Awesome purchase you have despite its tiny package. I have no complaints about VG-10. For its size its got a bit of weight from the SS handles which I like. I carry it in my back pocket because it is nice and flat but, it does consume alot of pocket space if riding in your front pocket. I dont think you will be dissapointed.
Oh yeah. The ball lock is about as solid and easy to operate as it gets.

It's stranger than it looks, but it's not as strange as it looks!

Fits amazingly well in hand; seems too big for me in my pocket or clipped. Works REALLY smoothly.

Best part is it's unlike anything else I have. Definitely up there on the cool/weird scale.

I've played with a lot of knives, and the Poliwog is the most comfortable knife I've ever held. It has great steel and a super strong and reliable lock. The things I don't like about it are that it's really wide when closed and I'm not a fan of steel handles. I'm definitely going to get one one day.

I've had mine for quite awhile. EDC'd for about a month or so and then put it away. Not because I didn't like it, I didn't want to scratch it up any more than I already had. The looks are misleading as it is a lot more knife than the size indicates. I have large hands and it fits me fine. I like the angle of the blade as well. It does take up some pocket real estate but for me it was no problem. The blade shape also reminds me a lot of the Native (my favorite knife of all) but on a smaller scale. When opened and in your hand, it is hardly noticeable. When it's closed and you pull it out of your pocket you can't even tell it's pocketknife which can be a good thing depending on who's around.

the Poliwog really needs to be held to be appreciated.... :)

Agreed. I put off getting one for a year or so, soon as i got it, i knew i'd made the right choice - it's much more comfortable than a first glance may suggest.

I think the Poliwog deserves much more praise than it receives.

Thanks for the input guys! Love the pix! You've made up my mind for me, as soon as $$ are available I'll be making the investment. Santa Claus has already made a decision, so I'll have to go solo on this one!
