Seconds are marked by Spyderco. Is there a nick ground in the spine just before Puukko?

You are correct about the mark they make in seconds. This is a second and bears the mark. I picked this up at the seconds sale in Golden myself. I can honestly tell you I have absolutely no idea why this is a second. I can't see a thing wrong with it at all.
