The Pygmy Warrior is a smaller Hobbit-sized version of the original Warrior fixed blade.
The Warrior fixed-blade ...is one of the worlds most iconic combat knives. The smaller Pygmy Warrior was designed by noted martial artist Bob Taylor primarily for use with reverse-grip tactics. The Pygmy Warrior has full-tang construction with handle scales for a superior grip and edge orientation, maximizing the knifes effectiveness when employed with its signature tactics. Its blade is Carpenters Steel CTS-BD1 stainless steel and saber-ground for strength. Featuring a deep curve, the blade arcs in complement to the natural motion of the human arm as it moves up and down in a trusting motion. Large-bite, rough serrations on the spine are used for trapping and hooking tactics. All Spydercos folding knives feature an identifiable signature round hole in the blade. To announce the fixed blade Pygmy as a Spyderco knife, a smaller round hole is added near the blades spine cusp. A first for Spyderco, the handle can be customized using four stackable, black G-10 scales. Up to two scales can be secured on each side of the blade via scale spacers to transform handle thickness for personalized grip preference. A custom-fitted Boltaron® sheath with a multi-positional G-Clip positions the knife for left or right-hand draw, use and carry.
