Got an assortment of knives for sale today. Three Spydercos, two Chinese originals, and a Reate/Liong Mah. I also have a Zieba S2 Mini listed in the customs forum. This is my first time selling on Bladeforums, though I have some feedback from purchases, and I've sold a few knives via Facebook groups in the past.
Purchase notes:
- If you wish to purchase a knife, post in the thread stating your intent to do so AND email me at garethenator at gmail. I just got my membership so I'm not yet confident in my ability to respond to PMs in a timely fashion.
- Listed in a couple places, so I'll go off the timestamp of the first person to commit to the purchase.
- If you have any questions, email is the best way to reach me.
- Payment via Paypal goods & services please. Prices include the fees on my end and US shipping via USPS.
- Will entertain reasonable offers on the non-Spyderco knives, especially if you're looking to buy multiples.
-No trades please On second thought I'm open to trading for a Boker Lancer plus cash
1. Spyderco Dragonfly HAP40 (x2) -$100 each BOTH SOLD
This one is pretty self explanatory. The HAP40 Dragonflies were a 2016 sprint run, and are sold out at dealers. I have two for sale today. Both are BNIB. They've never left the bubble wrap packaging, and I've only opened the boxes to take these pictures. There may be some slight wear on the corners of the boxes from transport, as I've moved since I got them, but they're otherwise flawless. Obviously I don't know details about the lamination lines and such, but if they're anything like my user copy they should be excellent.
2. Spyderco Equilibrium SS -$55 SOLD
Discontinued "little big knife" from Spyderco. Tiny 1.69" blade on a nearly full-sized handle (including the choil). As with the Dragonflies, this was a spare and has never left its packaging.
3. TwoSun Knives TS19 Coastline -$55 SOLD
A great budget flipper from up-and-coming brand TwoSun, based out of China. Very unique but usable flipper with a 3.54" modified wharncliffe blade in D2 on a TC4 titanium framelock. Runs on ceramic ball bearings and detent, which makes for a great action. Centering is also very good, though not quite perfect (see pictures). I cleaned the factory grease off, carried it for a couple days, and disassembled it to see the guts, but it's otherwise unused. The only way to buy these new is to buy directly from China. If you're interested in checking one out, you can save yourself the monthlong shipping time.
4. Dicoria Rays M390 Titanium Framelock - $155
Another original design from a lesser-known Chinese manufacturer. This one features a 3.66" M390 blade on a TC4 titanium framelock. Also runs on ceramic ball bearings and detent, and the action is very snappy. Centering is good, but favors the lock side a tad. As with the TwoSun I carried it for a couple days and disassembled it, but otherwise did not use it. Also only available direct from China, so you can save a month of your life.
5. Reate/Liong Mah SDC V1 - $250
A classic Liong Mah design with a low-profile flipper tab and 3.75" S35VN blade. This is the first version with bronze ano hardware and without the additional handle milling. Manufactured by Reate Knives, so you know the quality is there. Ceramic bearings and detent, glass-smooth action, and perfect centering. This one I carried for a while and sharpened a bit, though you can still see the grind lines from factory sharpening. I also slightly damaged some of the hardware during disassembly, as the screws are all soft titanium, and is priced accordingly. Otherwise an incredibly solid knife.
