Spyderco has printed some handy reference cards. - Plastic coated, about 6 1/2" on the long dimension. One side has a periodic table of the elements and some handy weight and measure conversion tables.

The other side is an alloy chart for most of the steels commonly used in factory and custom knives, and some that are not so commonly used.

I've posted links instead of a direct image display, because my scans are large for readability, and want a 1024x768 screen or better.

Thanks James. I've been waiting for these for quite some time now! Now to obtain one (or more

) of these from Sal!!

We should speak to Spark about adding the ability to DETECT whether we are replying to one of YOUR threads, so the "GREAT SCAN, JAMES" can be inserted automatically in those cases. Well, it's not been added (yet), so: GR8 SCAN, JAMES!!

Another thank you James. Two very cool charts with a lot of good information. Also thank you Sal for making these charts available.

Let's see a Landscape print on the HP color printer at work should just about do it! Oops, of course I would never do that at work!
