Hi all. Anyone have this knife? How do you like it as an EDC medium duty folder? You think its worth the $120 price tag?

Pics would be great :D

I had one until quite recently, it seems to have walked off without me!! That said, until it dissapeared it was my favorite EDC folder.

Definitely worth the price of admission. Its an amazing slicer, its lightweight, sits nicely in the pocket, and in my opinion looks very nice.

Sorry i don't have any pics of it, if you look about on the forum you will find plenty.

I'm not sure where you're located but I thought you could find them for less than $120. That said, I would pay up to $200 for the Sage1 if I had to. It's that good IMO.

wow really? Thats good news. Ya i found it for $114 after shipping costs. Im gona buy it lol

It can be found for under $100 if you look - key will be if it's in stock for immediate shipping

You can def find it for around $100 or a little less. It's the perfect EDC. It's light weight with a great blade steel. It is def worth the money.

I just received my Sage today. What a beauty! This one is replacing my BM mini-grip as my EDC. This is one sweet knife. I would highly recommend it. The blade shape is great, and OMG it is sharp. I have a few Benchmades and this is my first Spyderco. The sharpness out of the box makes the BM's look like butter knives. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but that full flat ground blade is wicked sharp.

The size is perfect. I'd say it is perfect for my EDC needs. The carbon fiber is stunning and fit/finish is top-notch. The wire clip works well and it sits extra low in the pocket.

I bought mine on Amazon for $93 plus tax and shipping (you can get free shipping as well, but it's slower). It came from Arizona to Seattle in five days (ordered Monday night, received today). I'm very pleased with this blade and can't believe I waited so long to get a Spydie. I just can't wait to get my hands on a Para2.

Order one without hesitation. You'll love it!

One of my most carried folders - carries low, thin profile, nothing too fancy, just nice.

Get it! The Sage 1 is my favorite knife...EVER. I don't know what it is, but it is just such a great feeling, looking and performing knife.

Definitely get it. I held off on the Sage for a while because I handled one for about 4 seconds at the SFO and decided it wasn't for me. Boy, was I wrong. I recently ordered and received one and the CF, F&F, and blade are amazing. Definitely get one.

As others have mentioned, you can get the knife shipped for under $100. Then, start saving for the Sage II. I am.

I don't carry mine, but that's because I'm left handed and it isn't. However, the ergonomics are so good that I can't wait for the midlock version to come out. On top of that, the fit and finish are among the best I've seen on a Spyderco, right up there with the best work of Spyderco's premier Japanese maker, Moki. Top shelf materials combined with excellent craftsmanship and a highly ergonomic design, all at a very decent price. Damn near impossible combination to beat.

One of my favorites. I slightly rounded off some of the sharp edges on the blade and jimping on mine, it just feels better to me.

Picked up a DragonFly (G10). It is also one of my favorites for EDC.

I would never call a $100-plus knife cheap, but compared to their natural competition, both Sage I and II are relative bargains. I often marvel that both models aren't complete sellouts.

How did you round off the edges?

If you get it, you won't regret it. It's worth way more than every penny you'll cough up for it

I got mine for below $100. This knife just oozes quality and the CF scales are just amazing. Here's a pic of mine with a Surefire 6PL.
