Hey so i'm having big problems with my sage 2. I've only had it a few weeks and the lock has worn in to about 60% (which i don't mind too much as long as it stays there) and now my lock is really hard to disengage like it's 'sticky'. I've tried cleaning the lock face/ tang with alcohol and i've used some graphite dry lube on it with no luck. Anyone have any advice? and is this something spyderco will fix?

Did you put graphite on the tang or the lockface? Its supposed to go on the tang.

How sticky is it? If its not sticky enough where you need to pry it closed and it just takes a little effort to unlock i would just give it a bit of time to wear in.

My 0561 was sticky when I got it and just now it seems to be not stick w/o graphite and i've had it a few months.

Im sure a more experienced person will chime in. Ive only had 1 Ti framelock so im only speaking off 1 experience. Hope it works out for you bud!

this is how it settled in. i admit i've been opening and closing the knife incessantly but it's so bad i can't carry it anymore. This may end up being the first knife i send in to spyderco for warranty service but i'm worried they can't/won't be able to do anything
