I can't say enough good things about Spyderco, but...
It was really cool when they recently sent a get-well knife to a friend who was recently undergoing life-saving surgery. They sent him a Lil' Temperance, one of their highest-end knives, laser-engraved to let him know that they and the Spyderco forum guys were all wishing him well. Now, it looks like he'll be okay and a dad. What a knife!
When Sal and Joyce from Spyderco learned that two of their fans were also first-time fathers, they sent our children laser-engraved stainless steel Dragonfly knives.
Their knives and sharpeners are amazing enough, but the people who make them are outstanding, too.
