Spyderco Salt w/box- $62 paypal net

Victorinox custom SAk Pioneer- $sold


Spyderco Salt 1. This was brand new and I carried it in my swim trunks one time to the beach and I took off the clip with a coin which caused a tine fleck of black paint removed from the screw. Blade is brand new and never cut anything. Comes with box and papers..$62.

Custom SAK-This is a custom Victorinox pioneer model. Highly customized. Custom springs, acid stone washed tools and countersunk torx construction. You can easily take this apart and put back together. Titanium back scale with custom pocket clip and blacked-out Powder coated front scale.. All tools tight and no play at all. Great fit and finish. There are a couple faint scratches on the Ti scale and one round scratch by the pivot (see pictures) where I turned the Titanium scale the other way and installed it once and caused the rubbing from the pivot. Might be able to buff out. No box or papers. $sold

I received an email in my junk box at some point this afternoon from you through Bladeforums. I clicked on the link to reply to you and the page said "That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails." I also see no way to PM you. Not sure when you sent your message (I made the offer last night at about 9-930pm), but sorry if I didn't immediately reply, since I sorta can't and also because I was busy these last few hours today.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I sent you an email right after your post on the 16th. Still have not heard anything back. You should have my email if you received one from me thru Blade Forums.

What is the problem with posting pay pal address?

I really don't understand. This crap keeps on happening. A lot.

What is your paypal address? Can't you just post it and be done? Are you afraid someone might just send you some money that you didn't request?

I cannot confirm when you sent it. I can only confirm when I received it. As shown, it was Sunday the 18th.

You may also notice in the other pictures what I'm talking about. You don't have the ability for anyone to send you an email through the forum. Most everyone else, when you click on their screenname, shows an option to send an email.

And when I click on the link in the BladeForums email (seen at bottom in first pic above) you sent me to reply to you, it takes me to the screen that confirms that I cannot send you an email.

Had I been able to send you an email privately, I would've made the offer that way rather than post it on the thread.

I've never really had this sort of difficulty when doing any other transactions on this forum or when posting in other threads.

But, the bottom line is that I didn't see your email until it arrived in my personal email on Sunday the 18th. I never saw a reply in the thread to my offer, either, which would've at least confirmed that you saw it and/or given me a heads up that an email was incoming and I should be on the lookout.

This really isn't that difficult, but for some reason it is. My offer is off the table as I've since found an alternative. Sorry.

agreed. Having a Private Message option would be ideal, but in lieu of that, we have to deal with 'forum sent' emails. It adds another layer of...stuff to deal with.

However, even if a paypal address had been posted originally I wouldn't have sent payment without acceptance of the offer from the seller. A simple response in the thread of "deal." or "sounds good. go ahead and send payment" would clarify things a ton.

oh well. ya live and learn. good thing it's just a knife and I can find it elsewhere.
 
I emailed the buyer through this system and I have never heard anything back. I never had this problem with anyone before.


My Paypal address is the same as my email. Don't want anybody scouring google with my email for security reasons. That is why I don't post it on a public forum which then anybody can see and find out about a person.


I have been here for a long time and never had such issues. Though I wish that BF would make it easier for paying member to receive PM's.

Coores14, anyway you are right. You can get this knife anywhere like Ebay.

When you made your original post to take the knife I emailed YOU from this system. Which you are saying you saw 2 days later and cannot return my email.

I have emailed HUNDREDS of non paying members here and they were able to return my emails.

thanks for the attitude. I've remained cordial and have only stated exactly what has transpired on my end.
Even with a few posts to my name, I've purchased knives on here. I think even my last Salt 1 I got on here. Can't remember.
I'm also a member on numerous other forums spanning a wide range of topics and a moderator for a very large one. I have a decent grasp on vbulletin forums. But hey, it's cool. It's my fault. If that helps you sleep at night and can end this debate, fine with me.

I think that is why you are so good at sending a smoke screen.
After your post I sent you an email which you claimed you received but you said could not return because I could not receive emails. That is not true. That can only occur if you tried sending me an email from the BF board directly since I have receiving emails turned off. However I sent you and email which you said you received yet could not return. I just want to be sure the facts are straight because I can tell ( and as you said), you are very familiar Vbulletin boards.
