Spyderco Salt 2....serrated or non serrated?

Hi Sal,

Might be.
Impatience is also not a good tool at sharpening. But i am getting better at both. Slow but steady...

Have a good one,
Ric

Well thanks for all the comments. I ordered the SE pacific salt 2. Should have it the first of the week. Guess I’m up to about 12 Spydercos now not counting the other brands. I started buying knives in the 60’s when I was 10. Still have most of them. It’s an addiction. I guess I need help! At least knives are (usually) cheaper than firearms! When my wife ask me why I’m buying a new knife or pistol I reply I could be chasing women and drinking too much liquor. She replies she knows how to use a knife!

Everyone says that H1 serrated stays sharp a long time. You can't really go wrong with Spyderedge anyways.
The Spyderedge has about a 25% larger cutting edge than the plain edge of the same size, according to Spyderco. It may be better at cutting line or wire if you are diving and happen to get hooked or tangled. I'd like to hear from divers who have knowledge about this. My biggest fear when diving isn't sharks, morays, etc. it is getting hooked by a fishing boat trolling nearby.

Just carried a new SE all black Salt 2 for two weeks in Hawaii, got it wet and often sandy literally every day, never did any maintenance except to wash sand out, worked perfectly. I almost took a Pac Salt but wanted the easier to carry smaller size which was plenty of knife.
