Spyderco Seduction

I was you roughly 3 weeks ago......

.......then I bought a Sage 1 in carbon fiber.....then a Native......and I just picked up a Cat this week.

U R Screwed!!!
Good luck.

U R Screwed!!!
Good luck.

Pretty much sums it up. I started with a Dragonfly. Got a Centofante 3. Just got a UKPK. Picked up a Bug just for the fun of it.

I've got a Manix 2, Grasshopper, Honey Bee and a Persistence inbound.

A FFG Delica and another Manix 2 on top of the "must have" list.

:(

As sungularity35 says, "Resistance is futile".

I'd say go for it. Odds are that you'll end up a Spydie-nut. The FFG Delica is a great EDC knife. Add a low-rider clip from STR and it goes up another level (if that's even possible :p).

If you don't like the knife, I know - blasphemy!, then you'll definitely be able to sell it on the exchange or gift it to someone else.

Ok so I have hated spydercos for some time and told myself I would never be caught dead with them....... BUT!!!!

I want one.

I love the delica full flat ground and the gray is the best of the colors, so I come to you, community of edged blade addicts, to either talk me out of it, or sell me on it and force me to pull the trigger.

It would be in my edc rotation

GO!!!!!

Ok so your not any different than being a 21 yo virgin. Until you hit the real deal, the palm looks awefull good. Ok, so, Manix 2, Sage 2, paramil, Mil. No need to say anything else

Im glad to see that my marketing class is paying off. I gave it the title of Spyderco Seduction and im getting hits looking for a new model, and disappointing every one of them.

Once you buy a Spydie, the disease never goes away... Just thought I'd share that with you. BUT, you should definitely buy that FFG Delica. Super cutter, light weight and very ergonomic. Also, you could look into the budget line (Tenacious et al). They're really good for the money and a good test to see if you really want to get into Spyderco.

I bought my first spyderco about a week ago - a Manix 2. Then I got a Gayle Bradley the same day. My Paramilitary 2 arrives tomorrow (according to tracking...) and I have a line on a CTS Manix 2 that I will get in a week or so... These knives are stupidly addicting. The Manix 2 was half the price of my BM 950 Rift... and it knocked it outta my front right pocket. I still carry both... There is just something about the way Spyderco knives feel in your hand! I always thought they looked stupid too... then I put that darn Manix in my hand, $400 later...... it has only been a week....

Please explain...

just a lame joke since i am taking Marketing classes and learning about advertising and since i gave it a name that people might think of as a new knife, i get extra hits. not actually my intention but just the way it worked out haha. I will flog myself for making a terrible attempt at humor.

I have had a tingling in my shorts for a while now whenever I see the sage series knives.. I really want to get these next but must find a job :*(

A good choice - maybe you get an Endura later?
Imagine grey handle, full flat ground...
How does that sound.

Ps: Hope this helps. :)

Here is a reason to hate them: Their repair/warrenty department. I had a paramilitary in which the liner snapped on one side of the cutout. Since they couldn't explain how it happened(had to be a microscopic fracture that happened somewhere in the manufacturing process), they wouldn't cover it and the customer is SOL. They offered me 30% off retail of any knife. What a joke.

Oh, my Blade Brother, if it were only that simple. I too avoided Spydies for a while, but now they are my favorite knives. They are so easy to open, and now I find it bothersome to go back to those nasty thumbstuds. Pull the trigger. I have several Delicas, all FFG. You will not be disappointed.

I understand your liking of the grey, and that is fine. But might I suggest a light green G10 model. Much sturdier knife, and it will serve you well for years to come. If cost is a factor, you can't go wrong with the FRN either. You will love it. Buy it tonight  !

I don't have a production FFG Delica but I do have a Delica 4 that was ground to a FFG by Tom Krein. To me it is a perfect edc. With 65 folders in my stable I find the Delica my overall favorite.
