Spyderco sets the standard for great Hawkbills

darthsoaker,

What was the store's price?

I have not found Spydercos locally where I live and work. I think there are many good prices on the internet and I have not been dissappointed in my internet orders.

My TASMAN SALT SE is one of my favorites, depending on where I am going and what I am doing.

I would love to have an Endura/Military length blade and handle. Call it the TASMANIAN, TAXMANIX, or TASMAN XL.

$85. Okay price, I guess, but with my very limited budget, I'm going with the best deal I can get.

I see them on the internet for about $55 plus shipping. Surely you can get it for under $65 total from several internet sources.

I like to buy locally, but noone around here carries Spyderco knives.

(Edited for spelling.)

I've asked this question before and being this is a HAWKBILL thread and a Spyderco Hawkbill thread I think it is most appropriate. What would you all think about a Hawkbill Dyad. Being that there is an H-1 Dyad in the works and everyone here seems to have the consensus that the H-1 Dyad is going to be met with a lot of fanfare when it arrives I just can't help but wonder if a Dyad with 2 Hawkbill blades ( one SE and one PE) would be a sailor's and/or mariner's dream knife.

With H-1 blades being as well loved as they are I just think it would be a slam dunk. But maybe you all disagree with me ;)
