I sent in a full serrated pacific salt that was in horrid shape (think a coworker abused it). Edge was rolled and dull as a butter knife. Anyone send one in like this? How long did it take for them to send it back? I can't remember exactly when I sent it out (I'm working 7 12's on graveyard) but I know it's been a few weeks. Not really trippin about it just curious.

Hey Sosa!
I sent a couple in for warranty work and the whole process took about a month.
You can send an e mail and they'll let you know.
Let us know how it comes back to you bro!

Do they charge for sharpening?

Not for plain edge, they might for serrated. They basically have to you the blade into a jig and it reserrates the knife by a few hundreths. That was about 5 years back, I asked them to rsharpen a fully serrated Para.

I would send it to Razor Edge Knives instead of Spyderco. I sent two knives in to Spyderco a while back and (a) it took forever (over a month), and (b) the knives came back fairly dull.

I got it back a few nights ago. A good working edge but not that factory fresh paper laser. The peaks are rounded. Considering the condition the blade was in I'm satisfied.

.

I know it's off topic but your sig says high end air rifles. I too am a high end air rifle nerd. My two go to rifles is a modded Air Force condor with 3 barrels (.177, .22, .25) and an air arms s410 xtra fac with modded baffles, trigger and hammer in .22. My Air Force puts out 95ft lbs using custom dead fish/boar hog 39gr pellets and about 75ft lbs eun Jin pellets. Next purchase is the Air Force .45cal. Lots of modded crosman 1377s and my old time fave a benji 392. Sold off my fx rifles to get more knives cuz Air Force is all I need.
