Spyderco Sharpmaker. Tell me about it. Does it work that well? Is it that easy to use? Thanks in advance.
 
Works good, and is as easy to use as it gets. Just keep your rods clean, and don't drag your tip off of the rods or it will round the tip a bit.
 
It works well if your knife's edge is set at either a 30 or 40 degree angle. Otherwise, you have to reset the bevel (which can take some time with the Sharpmaker), or you have to manipulate the SM base a bit to get it to match the angle of your edge. Once your knife edge and the SM are at the same angles, it's easy to use.
