I have a lightly used Spyderco Sharpmaker that I just cannot get the hang of using. It is more than likely user error, but I have found that I have an easier time using a flat stone rather than the rods. It comes with the kit, rods, and brass saftey rods. I do not have the DVD anymore.
I am looking to trade this out for something a bit more useful to me. Ideas are:
Ruger New Vaquero Grips(Aiming for wood or reddish grips)
Some SOG knives(XL SlimJim, Vision, etc..)
Buck Knives
Flat stone sharpeners, especially one with a rounded surface for getting to recurves.
