Spyderco South Fork

Any news on when this one will be on the street?
How many made etc?

cant wait for this knife to come out;)..Its exactly my type of knife simple and classic........wish spyderco would make few more fixed blades similar to this.I have moran clip point and it cuts better than any other knife I have ...wish spyderco would make few bowie style fixed blades(classic looking in modern caarbon steels)
 
I'm pretty happy with their Mule series. Some fantastic steels have been used, including the latest in M390. But the Southfork does look like a modern classic. I hope the price is something I can afford.
 
I doubt I'll be able to afford it, but I'll get one somehow. I might have to do 100,000 Mturk jobs at Amazon, but I'll get one. :D
 
My custom Phil Wilson south fork is on the way here. M390 at 62 rockwell. I will post some pics when it gets here. I also plan on buying the spyderco version for her as a work knife when its released. She works at a bagel store but they make all kinds of meals and salads.
 
Looking forward to seeing pics of that one spydusse! That M390 is going to be excellent for the kitchen!

I think I would faint if I was standing in line at a bagel restaurant and saw everyone behind the counter using Spyderco South Forks. :)
 
This looks like a great utility knife for camping and the kitchen- may even get me to take up a fishing pole, I hope it does not arrive at the same time as the Millie M390. Going to be difficult next year- especially if the rumours of the Starmate are true.

I will have to suck it up then

It's going to be a real cutter, unlike anything you have used before. ;)

Haha no for my custom south fork ,sorry. I wish I knew somebody on the inside at spyderco lol.from what Sal said im not expecting this till spring at the earliest. That's why I got a custom as my girlfriends bday is way before that.
 
I get bitched at when im in the kitchen when she's cooking so I took a couple quick shots and ran.i will post some glam shots later and some next to other spydies for a size comparison.it is one beautiful sharp lazer of a knife.
