The LEO/MIL distributer I bought it from has a no-hassle refund guarantee. I don't like it, I can return it.
Actually, I carried it more like 10 days. With some field use. The 561 took the time off attached to my vest [and now, back to my pocket).
If that's what your supplier's policies are, that's their policies. It just isn't normal practice, hence we were wondering what happened there.
Sounds like living in a bubble. I don't need to microscopically inspect a knife that I intend on using. If it works, it does. If it doesn't, like the Southard, it doesn't.
Not understanding this statement. I looked at it under a loupe and microscope to gauge the fit, and the finish in a more constant manner. The microscope deal is more of a hobby of mine.
Real world use is what counts, and that's why my vantage pro got used and my sebbie sits in the safe. Not my ZT 561 is my EDC along with my shoki 561.
In the southard's case, the action and more importantly, the disproportionate scales are what put me off.
Didn't need to use it.
