Recently I came into possession of two of these (a NIB one came up here and I got a used one on the bay at the same time). This one came from the bay. I had thoughts of doing a body swap with a normal salt to have this blade with a black body. Well, as tends to happen I have other knives in the pipeline so this one needs to go. It has been used, carried and sharpened. The tip was bent about a millimeter. I did a quick sharpening to fix that. No doubt someone could clean it up better than what I did. Though the tip is very pointy now! Action is smooth. Lock up is great but with like man lock backs if you tug on it you can get a little movement. Centering is a tad off. Has normal scratches and scuffs on the blade from use. The body looks very good. Please see the pictures. I am including a picture to show the size difference from the still in production Tasman Salt. It is significant! Price: $old.
