I would really like to see a sprint run of the Spyderhawk in H-1, I think it also would fit in really nice with the Salt line, the Salt 1 has the bigger brother the pacific salt, and the Tasman has the bigger brother the Spyderhawk. :D

In the next gen of the spyderhawk, is there a way we can make it smaller when closed? I really like the knife, but as it stands, it might as well be a fixed blade as huge as it is closed.

The superhawk is big when in the closed position also,But that`s characteristic of hawkbills.

This has been brought up on the Spyderco forum.

Anyone other then me want to see a version with G-10 and a liner lock?? :D I don't mind FRN, and some say that the simpler the better, but I love G-10. I also love Spyderco's liner locks as they are well designed and crisp. 1+1+Hawkbill = At least two, probably four, in my pocket.

A spyderhawk in G-10 would be nice.:)

Ditto what everyone said, with one exception. I really like the back lock. Other than that, it would be a must have.

+1 on the backlock with G10. A Ti framelock would be great too!

+1 on the frame lock. This would be my second hawk bill. Didn't think i'd like it but the more I used this blade shape the more I love it. Like they say "Stick in the tip and let it rip!" So freakin usefull its just plain effortless! :D

I love the civi but the spyderhawk will take some use without snapping the tip off---this topic has tons of hits on the spyderco forum---personally I would love to see it happen-they even have a nickname for it over there "thunderbird salt" .
