Admittedly, not the nicest-looking Damascus pattern but if you happen to catch some sunshine rays in the pattern, like I did, it doesn't look half bad.

You know, pictures just don't do that Nishijin handle justice. Got mine in today and it is beautiful. But, like I thought, I'm not fond of the Damascus pattern on the blade. Looking at my ZDP-189 Stretch with green FRN handles, I'm definitely going to swap blades. The Nishijin handle with the ZDP-189 blade will be very, very nice. Then I'll have the Damascus blade on the green FRN which will be a decent combo as well. Win-win, I think.
