Based on having taken an FRN Stretch apart, and having seen FRN Enduras and Delicas disassembled, I'd say that's a fairly safe assumption. My Superblue Stretch is very smooth, as smooth as any Delica or Endura I've handeled. I always assumed it was the same construction, but never actually had it apart.
I really like Spyderco's FRN. It's totally functional, lightweight and to my eye, very cool looking in a no frills kinda way.
I'll note that the Frn on mine was jutting inward enough to provide traction to the place no matter the pivot screw tightness
Quick remedy was oil. Long term taking the knife apart and trimming and sanding which I should be done with. Scales are drying awaiting re assembly
I'll probably give Spyderco a call as having them fix it would probably be easier but I wasn't sure how they do that for a discontinued sprint run. It wasn't a big deal and I can make the adjustments fine. It's just I shouldn't have to on a new knife that's in this price range and new.
Not a knock on Spyderco in anyway at all as I've had a few and this is the worst problem one has given me and I didn't give them the opportunity to fix it. Can't diss a company's product for qc or w/e if you don't give them the chance to fix it
