spyderco superhawk

i heard the superhawk will have a choil, does this mean a grip choil or blade choil? also, what will be the overall length of blade? thx

Hi Bam Bam,

The Superhawk has a 50/50 finger choil, no blade choil. the blade length is about 3.5" (88mm).

thanks sal, will look forward to it. i always worry my hand will slide down on to blade, grip choil will solve or help that.

merc, the hawkbill curves at the end of blade downward to edge side, like a hook.

Hawkbill blades have the blades sweep down like a hawk's beak so it holds whatever you are cutting to the blade. It will be in VG-10 steel.
