Spyderco Superleaf!**pics added*

i really like the finger coil, strangly enough the only thing i would add is jimping along the top of the spine, over the spyderhole

My superleaf is still on the way but I have my superhawk to judge by. So no, no jimping please. The jimping on the manix 2 is one of the things I don't like about it. Jimping for me does not improve grip, it just makes for hot spots in extended use. A well-designed handle is what gives a secure grip. No amount of jimping will make a badly designed handle, better.

My take is if you add jimping the knife will tear up your pocket as you slip it in and out. I vote to leave it just as it is. The SuperLeaf is a big time awesome EDC from Spyderco as it is. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with this knife as I never held or owned an SH.

It's an awesome knife.

Oh man we are on the same page with the nasty paddle shaped, spatula looking ,flap jack flippin clip!!! that spyderco puts on many of their knives, somebody could probably make a little extra cash just redoing those alone, but as usual spyderco probably have a good reason for it-

I'm with Reeek on the Superhawk, though I knew it would have great ergos as I have a Superhawk. This knife is flat out the most ergonomic knife I've held. I really like the clip as it is so much better than most every standard clip when you are using it hard as it doesn't raise hot spots. The knife in my mind compares well with the original Manix as it is a heavy duty cutter with a very strong lock and excellent ergos. After carrying both my Manix and the Super Leaf side by side I prefer the Super Leaf with it's better ergos, excellent lock (I like the cutout as is) and the wire clip not gouging my hand like the Manix's clip.
