Review on a Spyderco tenacious. its my first one dont bag on me.
First of when i opened the box i noticed how large this knife was to what i thought it was going to be. The handle is made of G-10 and is held together with allen wrenches. The g-10 could be grippier but for 30 bucks i aint complaining. Now for the lock. The lock up there is minimal to no wiggle at all up down left or right. This is the strongest liner lock i have ever seen. The pocket clip is fullly reversible and is stainless which is the only downside to this knife. The blade is made of 8cr13mov which came out of the box EXTREMELY sharp. IT holds an edge fairly well, and is easy to sharpen. The rust resistance is pretty good. phosphur bronze bushings. Overall its a great EDC knife. My favorite so far its replaced my Benchmade 556 which misses me and i dont ever use.
Upsides: Fast, sharp, big, lock up
downsides: weight and the pocket clip is stainless
5/5 stars
let me know how i did.

good review.. not overly wordy. I like short sweet reviews that cover all bases. I think the weight is actually pretty good, and I like stainless clips for the most part (black ones scratch up too easily)

Nice review.....nice knife. I too was very impressed when my Tenacious arrived.

- regards

I hate black coated clips. They scratch and look like poo poo. I only buy stainless or ones made of Ti.

The Tenacious is the best buy in any knife.

In my opinion, over all a nice knife. For $30, you get a knife that should cost more. Only complaint about (my) tenacious is that it's harder for me to close the knife with one hand for some reason. All my other liner lock knives i've own weren't hard to close.

sunnyboy,
Nice review. We're glad you are pleased. That's why we do what we do.

Enjoy your Tenacious and welcome.

The first review is always the hardest.

I may be wrong but the screws are likely torx and not allen...

Recently, I was able to handle a Tenacious. Very impressive quality at it's price-point.

Congrats on your new knife. Good review.

One of my favorites as well. You will have to try a Cara Cara next, also a great buy for the buck!
