Just got my new Spyderco Tenacious yesterday.. Nice knife, G-10 handle, good sharp blade, feels good in the hand.. It's one of the Spydies made in China, but not like the Byrds, seems just like the Spydies made here in the U.S.. anyone else have one also?

I ordered it on the Spyderco website.. It was just under $50.. So far, it seems like just the right size:) This may be my new EDC...

Yeah, check'em out... I think alot of people are really gonna like these, I know I do! Except for one thing... I'm already getting that "Not sure if I should use/carry this one all the time, cuz I don't wanna mess it up" feeling! Oh well, I'm happy with it.

I almost bought it when I got the Mule Teams but decided to save a couple of bucks and the hassle of getting it across the border. Hope you keep liking it- and use the thing well.

Hey Cuts Like Kris,

Actually, I've noticed that Canadian online knife retailers are listing the Tenacious.

I accidently ordered one of these through poor fish with a Lansky Spyder Sharpener, through Poor Fish (Amazon.Com) and expect it by the beginning of next week. Sounds like a good knife for the money, but how does it compare to other Spyderco products like the Rookie, Police, Endura, Delica, Native3.

Thanks,
Eric

Wow, old post resurrection alert! ;)

I just got my Tenacious for about $36 shipped from yourcornerstore.com, and I have not been able to put it down. It's been in my pocket for 4 days straight now, and will remain there for the forseeable future.

Very nice G10 grips, GREAT ergonomics, excellent jimping, beefy lock with outstanding lockup, phosphor-bronze bushings for a smooth and fast action...this little knife has got it all. If it were made with VG-10, it would be easily worth twice the price, and I'd pay every penny of it.

Great, great knife for the money. Just as good as the US and Seki made knives, but with blade steel that isn't quite as good. Still wicked sharp, just not quite as good.

my opinion:

i like the size of it...it's just about perfect for edc, and opens super quick.

i also like the zt 0350 (my new favorite) but for the money the tenacious is golden.

i'm interested in finding out how the tenacious stands up to daily use (abuse), i have not used mine much.

i've found the zt to be...well...a zt.

Ouch!! 50??? That's a little steep. I spent 34 on mine. Amazon.com. It's an awesome knife. I posted a couple threads on custom handle scales and where to find them. I only found one site. Its like in German and English, but it would be cool to find some custom wooden handles... But oh well. Haha. Awesome bulletproof knife.

I'd pay $50 for a tenacious.

+1 ...and more really.

I got mine from YourCornerStore for $30 and Knifeworks has it for $35.

This is an old thread, but can't say enough good things
bout the Tenacious. This is one of the knives that
re-sparked my interest in collecting knives. I remember
getting it and saying: Oh, it's only 30 bucks, and after
that I'll stop.... LOL! (Someone please help me!)
