Been havin mine for a while and LOVE THIS SUCKER. The best quality 4 the $ out there. It acts and feels like a $100.00 knife. Carry mine everyday on and off duty. Very, very impressed. For the price ya don't have to worry about messing it up. The're so reasonably priced that i even bought a second for a "spare". Probably will never need that spare with the exception of loosing it. Really buy one. If you already have one buy another.

Helluva value - I bought one just because!!!

It almost felt unnatural - that much knife for that little money.

SAl ought to give me some commission - I think I singlehandedly sold more people on the Tenacious model than his marketing did!:)

I just bought one from yourcornerstore. do I move the pocket clip, hex key in 1/16 is too big and .050 is too small. Someone please help!! Thanks in advance.

its torx bits. go to your local lowes or home depot and buy a kobalt screw driver with the torx bits in it for 5 or 6 dollars.

I know this is an old thread but I have to say this is a sweet knife for the money. I just picked up several knives from Bladematrix and the Tenacious stands up to knives twice the price. I paid $30.

i picked up a small hex key from my hardware store for like 50 cents... i took my knife with me and hunted down for the right size key for it to work... ended up buying 2 for a total of a dollar

Ditto, but i purchased my first one yesterday :D

Still very much a new member...but this thread got me to buy one of thse today, too.

Looks like a very nice deal in a relatively compact package. I carry enough gear, day to day, but always need a good blade handy. If it is as good as it looks may replace my current Emerson. We will see.

Thanks for all the endorsements. Cant wait to get it...though I hate having to wait for shipment to an APO. Grrr....

I've had it forever. I'm not a fanboy of any blade manufacturer...I use what seems to work well. It has been an EDC for years. Ive been putting off replacing it for a long time, as like an old wallet it grows on you. But. Its time. As a matter of fact the Emerson itself was a gift (about 8-9 years ago) and I dont know which model it is. I cant find any photo's of it anywhere on the internet. I will post one later to get an ID.

I think I may buy a Manix2 now as I really like it, as well. My Lum Chinese is on order too.

Well, those are two very nice choices. I have one suggestion now that you have a Spyder bite, try a PE Native as well. I have around 40 Spydies and the two that I use the most are an S90V Military and that darn Native. Worth a look I think. ;)

Yeah...I looked at the carbon-fiber Native but was a bit more than I wanted to put into a knife after the ones Ive purchased this month alone. I'm sure you guys share my pain there.

Ive pretty much used the crap out of the Endura model (quality blade, but cheap enough I dont care if it breaks or gets lost) since it came out. Only problem I ever had with it, was when it came out the damned pocket clip was plastic and molded to the body. So when it broke no more pocket use. Think it was the Endura, anyhow. Many years ago. Been metal clips for awhile now. Zero problems with the modern version and Ive had one riding, weak hand, on my rig for about 3-4 years now.

Had a Police for about 5 months but lost it here in Korea somewhere back in the mid-90's...never bought another.

Various Gerber Multi-Tool's before I got issued a Wave...never looked back.

Really just getting into the actual collecting bit. All my knives are workers, with the Emerson pulling double/triple duty.

Can't wait for the Lum/Tenacious.

I paid a bit under 40 euros for mine, and it is worth it. It is worth it very much. The plain edge has been my EDC since it arrived, keeps its edge quite well and is easy to sharpen to shaving sharp. The serrated edge version is my emergency knife when around horses, cuts leather straps and ropes rather well.
Also bought one as a present for a friend and I'm considering buying a "spare" plain edge, or rather a shiny unscratched shelf dweller

This is a great knife, and the price is unbelievable. I will pick up a mili and a para down the road, but this knife holds it edge well and sharpens easy.

If it were made with VG-10, it would be easily worth twice the price, and I'd pay every penny of it.

I actually got Sal into a conversation of that very issue. Called the thread the Tenacious II. Basically he said there are other knives (Sage I think) that fit the bill for a T-II and the cost would very likely be more than twice due to need for Japanese built location.

That said the Tenacious is an awsome knife.
Furthermore, the steel used is very good on its own but considering the price of the knife...its outstanding.

I hate when KnifeCenter has the blade for a good price and views as in stock...but when you actually order it they say it is delayed (not in stock). Kind of burns the old posterior.

Oh well...waiting...

Id totally be in for a VG10 Tenacious.

I'm with Superfuzz on the multi tools. I dont know a lot of people who have gone back to gerber MTs after handling Leathermans.
