Spyderco & Thumbstuds. Useful? Probably not. Can it be done? Yes!

You have inspired me. I have a number of knives that open using thumbstuds. I think I would prefer to open them using holes. It should be fairly simple to grind the thumbstuds off and then clamp the knife in my drill press and purchase an appropriate spyder hole sized diamond tipped drill and drill spyderholes in my knives that did not come with them.
