Spyderco, doesn't bill any knife as a fighting knife. Even the ones that are designed as a last ditch weapon (Civilian) are very subtlety marketed, as such.

Seems like it better describes the P'kal

Yep, or the Civilian.

The Tuff is a great hard use utility/working blade. It's tough (Tuff) enough to do other duty as well, but I really don't think that was the intent.

And great pictures Jill...they beat the hell out of mine.:D

Nice pics! The craters in the ti ruin the knife for me though...makes it look cheap. Otherwise, I really like the design overall.

Ah I want one so bad!!! *Scolds Self* No more money on knives for a while, do NOT click *buy now*.
I just bought a large Sebenza, Ti Subcom, Wharncom, Boker S2, 2 Mind Skull beads, Ti lanyard ring, paracord, and other knifey things. Someone heal me lol.

It's a big strong tight knife, that's what I like. I really would rather see a knife like this overly tight than loose and sloppy.

Cheap is one thing it's not. It's $270.00 Canadian. I'll stick with my original fixed blade Rock Salt. Anyway the Tuff [to afford] can't hold a candle to the Szabo which I understand will be significantly cheaper.

Depends on what criteria your looking to fill.
The Tuff is way tougher than the Szabo will be.
The Szabo also suffers from a lamentable lack of titanium.;)

And like someone else said, if you don't like it, then Tuff! :D
