spyderco uk pen knife

How long has the G-10 version been discontinued? I'd like to pick one up but they seem pretty hard to find.

You better move fast if you want the CF version, it has been discontinued.

Thanks for the heads up, I thought the G10's were the only ones discontinued.

The G10's have been discontinued at least since the third quarter of last year, maybe sooner, at least that's when I was looking for one. Perhaps someone else , knows the exact time frame... I've seen some pop up on the auction sites, just beware of fakes- as posted by someone else on another thread.

I really like the ukpk. i own the orange g10, foliage green g10, black g10, and carbon fiber.

I got lucky when i was looking for a work knife to use i found a black one which i believed was already discontinued back when i was looking for it. but got lucky and found one (wanted black because it wouldnt show dirt) I love the leaf shaped blade, and ffg s30v. I'd recommend the g10 versions if you can find them anywhere. i do not own any of the frn versions, if they had come in s30v i probably would have picked one up.

If i get my retro-pay check from work and its a decent amount i may pick up a titanium ukpk if i can find one decently priced.

I've never had the knife close on my fingers, and its pretty difficult for that to happen if you use a proper hand grip on it.

Looks like you can get the drop point green g-10 at nationsknives. Anyone have any experience with them? Noob here.

@RetiredGuns - Wow, your UKPK looks just like the one I sold a while back. Is it the same one? If so, I am glad it is with an owner that appreciates it. :)

@the OP - Yes, the ergonomics of the UKPK are the same for the Caly. IMO, it is the best Spyderco offers. Although content with my Caly's, I would love to see a U.S.-made version made with FRN. I still prefer a lock for my EDC but a slip joint will take care of the majority of what you may need to cut.
