I have an almost LNIB Vallotton that I bought NEW from an Amazon dealer in December of last year. I never used it. But looking at it closely I see a mark (by center clip screw hole) and a few faint scratches on the non-clip side bolsters. Perhaps it was slid into a drawer at one point? The box is also a bit beat up. So it's almost new but not quite. Has perfect lockup and centering.
