Just received teh Spyderco Vallotton. Very, very well made knife. Impressed. Heavy duty, thick blade, nice grind, beautiful, polished G-10. Heavy, but I like heavier knives myself. The fit and finish is superb. Very close tolerences. May not be for everybody, but it is for me. ;)

I examined the prototype in Amsterdam and I liked it quite a bit.
Unfortunately, the nice bolsters are threaded for attaching the clip in all 4 corner. This is a pity.

How thick is the liner lock?

I have the same knife coming in on Monday. From Spyderco, the blade thickness is 4MM, or 5/32", or .157", think ZT0200 thick for the blade. Thicker than the normal .120-.125" you see on a lot of knives. I read somewhere that the liner thickness was slightly less than what the Gayle Bradley has, and that the lockup was very, very secure. I really like the design and can't wait for it to get here. Btw, weight is listed at 6.2 ounces.
