my problem with s30v is deburring.
but with enough time deburring i can get it as sharp as anything else and it will outlast vg10. if not it cuts just enough and wont last a day.
and s30v doesn't like going below 15°/side from my experience. even at 15° it's a pain to deburr. less at a more obtuse angle.
