Spyderco vs the Dryer

I've washed my FRN dragonfly at least a dozen times over the years. It still looks and acts like new. I always forget to take it out of my change pocket.

I have (accidentally) run my Gen 1 Endura through the wash a few times - it usually helps clean out some of the gunk that's built up in the lock and pivot, saving me the hassle of trying to clean a knife that can't be disassembled :p

Wow that's pretty amazing. I washed and dried my Co-Pilot a while back but it stayed clipped to the pocket and didn't open up.

I once accidentally ran a Gerber through a wash and dry - the blade always seemed a bit softer after that and didn't hold an edge as well.
All the heat didn't do the blade any good.
The ebony didn't like the water and heat - the knife lost this time.
I am now careful to check my pockets.

I carry my dfly in my lr pocket but not as an edc(I used to).

Ive Washed my dfly Twice in the last 4 weeks because Ive gotten out the

habit of looking for it every time I wash. Its Clean Thou. :D:D

Ive run my surefire lights through the wash several times. once I pulled my L4 out of the wash and it was ON.
