Spyderco Warrior - Anyone picked one up yet?

Got mine a couple of days ago. The blade is smaller than it appears in the pictures but feels so fast in the hand. The tip is thick and not sharp on the serrated side. The sheath is typical high quality from Spec Ops. It is a neat toy...useful if you are a Navy SEAL black op warrior but otherwise just a lot of fun to hold and admire if you are a regular guy.

I think it's destined to become a true collectors classic. Don't think to many will be used to cut human flesh, apart from minor cuts to collectors' fingers.

I forsee it being my best TV knife. The one you look at while watching a bad show. Just be careful out there kiddies she is sharp on both sides!!!

I was never keen on the looks of the knife. While it's functional no doubt, it reminds me too much of a mall ninja knife.

Oh....I am in touch with and have come to grips with the mall ninja in me. And this knife certain scratches that itch. Some people have been offended by the knife or the name. I love it. We are on this forum because we have crossed the limit on what knives we "need". A machete and a Buck 110 can fulfill almost any need out there for a knife. We collect, thats what we do....Sal just gave us something different to collect. TC
ps My wife calls it my pirate knife....how cool is that?
pss. Don't worry about her ...last birthday she bought me a Patrick Nihiser Active Duty!!

I wish it came without the serrated edge on the back. I guess the next fixed blade for me will be a Busse hopefully.

if i had the extra cash for it i would pick one up ASAP. it WILL be a collector piece if the design's past history is any indication. i would love to pick one up for my good friend who is an army ranger now. he always collected REKAT knives and im sure would love to use it. cool design for what it is... 100% weapon. -CB

I like it but the cost and limited application prevent me from purchasing it. Maybe if did more boating...around gators.

If I had cash to spare on very expensive fighting knives this would be on the list. I was so thinking navy seal when I first saw it. H1 steel, finger grooves for locking it in the hand, and that serrated edge located in just the right spot. I'd use the SE for rope and maybe wires with out having to reverse my grip. Utility edge, fighting edge.

If I was a millionaire I might buy one, but since I'm not I generally limit myself to knives I'm going to use and this isn't one. It is a very very cool knife, though.

CS has them at a good price and while I'm not crazy about it I'd still like to add it to the collection. Having just ordered a Gayle Bradley and with both a Ti Military and an M4 Ti/G10 Military on preorder I'm afraid I'll have to hold off for now.
