Spyderco would make a killing if they made a Paramilitary equivalent of the Manix LW

The idea just occurred to me.

BD1 steel, FRCP scales, with a price similar to the Manix Lightweight...it would be a record breaker.

I know a lot of people hesitate with the PM2 because of the price. It's definitely worth it though, I just got mine today! I think a lightweight version would sell even more than the already popular model.

I think it's a great idea. I would love a lighter and thinner PM2.

The Para2 is perfect already. If I want lighter I carry my Manix 2 LW!

Just wait till you need to use it in your left hand but you are a Righty...

I am ambidextrous and I can open and close the PM2 just as well with either hand. I can do it quicker than an assisted opener with either hand. I see no problems.

I prefer a bit of weight to my folders. Personally I find the current pm2 to be almost too light for my preference.

Same here, Id probably carry my pm 2 more if it were heavier. I don't know what the obsession is with featherlight knives. Ive gotten to the point after carrying larger folders that my ideal weight is around 5 or 6oz.
