One of the greatest production knives ever, in my opinion.
ZDP189 stainless blade with outstanding edge geometry, rock-solid lock, wonderful carbon fiber handles with the heavenly Spyderco ergonomics. It is one of the most solid EDC folders around and can handle anything you throw at it---very nice.
I've been singing the praises of the Stretch since the day I received my first one. The original Stretch was an excellent design although handicapped to some degree by its Kraton inlaid stainless handle. As for the Stretch II, I'd agree with steelscout that it's one of the best, if not THE best, production folder ever in terms of cutting power for size/weight. Like its predecessor, I've been carrying one on and off since it first came out.

Dead horses beaten, sacred cows tipped, chimeras hunted when time permits. Spyderco Collector # 043 - - WTC # 1458 - 1504 - 1508 - Never Forget, Never Forgive! Great in every way. Great grip, weight, size, feel, steel. I have never read a bad review of this knife of anyone who actually owns one. Only drawback is price but if your willing you will be happy.
Agreed. Production class knives don't get any better than this at cutting and slicing. It's very well built, and ergonomic to boot. A functional masterpiece that outcuts most customs at production prices. Joe
My absolute favorite knife, cuts like a laser.... I don't use mine as an edc, as it is a little to large for mundane, day to day, cutting chores (IMO), but I do carry it whenever I am outdoors, hunting, fishing or simply "walking about". The best folder I own! Regards, Steve
