I went to my local pawn shop/knife store. Fortunatley they have a large assortment of spideys old and new. Anyway I wanted to get my fix and low and behold they had the ZDP Endura and Calypso. I looked em over and bought both. They both proved to be more than sweet. The endura was solid, no play and centered on lockup. Same with the Calypso. However the Calypso is just well......sweeeeet. That knife is sharper than sharp with its flat ground blade and just wow. If you have never held this knife and felt it I suggest you should, to me its like a small manix with its solid lockup and almost small beefy feel. Others may disagree but this is just one sweet knife. Its worth more than what I paid for it.

I have not had much experience with spydies ZDP but so far its been sharper than sharp and I am very happy with it.

I don't think you'll get too many arguments. The CF/ZDP Caly 3 is indeed a very sweet knife.

Wasnt expecting too many arguments, with all the negatives against Spyderco (as of late) I just wanted to throw a positive out there.

ZDP is an amazing steel, but I find Spyderco's (with the 420J2 coating) to perform a little better than the rest of the companies using ZDP out there.
