huh, come again?

unless of course, you are referring to the white-blue boxes and the grey boxes......

-white-blue: old style box, older knives

-grey: new style box, newer knives

Spyderco has used a number of different boxes over the years. The ones I recall are solid blue, red, black, and white, white with blue (like the one in dennis75's picture) white with black (mostly on models intended for sale in Japan) and the current grey with black web type (the other one in dennis75's picture). There may be a couple I've missed. Believe Sal mentioned there's an new style on the way too. Not sure what it will look like. Aside from the "Japanese market" boxes with the Kanji writing, the only thing they indicate is the time period in which the knife was manufactured. The Police and Harpy have probably been around long enough to have been packaged in each of those boxes at some point. There have also been a few models that came in padded zipper pouches instead of boxes, and some that are sold both in boxes and "clam packs".
