It's been said that it takes time to acrue tastes for certain items whether it be food, wine, music or art or whatever might catch your fancy. When they were discontinuing the fixed blade Temperance about a year and a half ago I finally bought a couple of of the FB Temperance models. I was very pleasantly surprised. Since then I have also bought more Spyderco fixed blades mainly for my USER arsenal. It is truly a joy to cut up and process food with Temperance model.

But Spyderco has put out a few fixed blade models that for what ever reason were very slow catching on. I rarely now go more than 3 days without using either my PE or SE Temperance. The blade geometry that I had overlooked in the past is simply a splendid piece of serious USER cutlery.

But I am not stopping there: I have since discovered some of Spyderco's other fixed blades. The Moran model makes a great hunting knife. The LUM Tanto fixed blade is truly a workhorse. Not to mention some of Spyderco's excellent kitchen/culinary knives. I know I'm not alone liking Spyderco's fixed blades. What do you all say?
