Spyderco Lum Chinese Titanium - moved to new thread

  • scale on non-frame side still has the protective film over it, hence the "circles" in the picture - air pockets
  • just got this a couple of weeks ago

Hi, is there any signs of wear/damage or usage on the ZT 0200? Also where are you located? Please pm me I'm very interested and an unable to pm you for reasons unknown.

Thanks for your interest in the knife. For some reason as well on my end, I can't pm you. The ZT 0200 has been used very lightly and there are no glaring signs of wear on the knife. It has never been dropped, mistreated or abused in anyway. However, upon closer inspection, at near the front of the top swedge on the ZT logo side, there is a very minute, pin-point sized spec of the DLC removed that shows the bare steel beneath- it is hardly noticeable. Can't even be seen in the picture. Lock-up is solid, no blade play what-so-ever. Pivot has not been adjusted and it flicks open smoothly. Still has factory edge. Please note, I only ship to con us.
 
I am interested in the LUM, but can you tell me if those are spots on the scale or just photo blemishes?
 
Hi mmcc100,

Those are spots- air pockets, it's the temporary effect caused by a protective plastic film over that side of the scales since it is new. It won't be there when you remove that cover. Please feel free to ask any more questions.
