Spyderco's G10 mix up

I'd love to see a pic of that worn down PM2. It'd be like looking into the future. [emoji6]

Here you go, my picture doesn't really turn out that well but the G10 on my regular black has gotten smoother over time and the corners gets shinier, I really want the blurple thing to be solid color and not half a--ed translucent. Oh well....

Been lurking on this forum for awhile and only joined recently. I'm a relatively recent Spyderco convert :). Had a black/black PM2 on backorder for a couple weeks from knifecenter and just received it today. Looks like I got one with the "temporary" G10 texture. Pretty subjective, but I have to say it doesn't feel much more aggressive than the standard texture. I think it actually "looks" a lot better though personally.

Some pics for those interested...

Next to a black/black Manix 2 for better comparison of the texture

For those wondering, the blue sort-of-digicamo PM2 was a Rit Dye experiment. Was going for black, but pulled it out of the pot a little early and ended up liking the dark blue hue. Not much of a camo pattern anymore though lol. At any rate, I should've known these Spyderco's would multiply like crazy. Might keep the black/black with the "temporary" G10 texture NIB since it'll be kind of a rarity, then pick up another beater PM2:thumbup:

What color did you use? There's another gentleman on here used royal blue and turned out really well, almost like blue jean digicam, I am going to try this weekend.

I used black as I was going for black, but like i mentioned, I took it out of the pot a little early to check the progress and saw that it was blue. Ended up liking the blue. My advice is check on it every few minutes as I only left the scales in the dye for about 15mins and it already got that dark.
