Most of you who have the Spyderco Catcherman fillet knife that Spyderco used to make have the more common 75/25 version. They were 75% plain edge and 25% serrated. To break it down they were what most of us refer to as a "combo-edge". However I was fortunate enough to get one of the older fully serrated Catchermans. And let me tell you from now on when I clean fish I will have both varieties of the Catcherman available.
As far as removing the heads from the fish and cutting through the rib cages of bigger fish that fully serrated Catcherman has truly earned a place in my tackle box. Now I am trying to find an SE Catcherman for the collection
