Spyderedged Sprint Runs: It's About Time

That's interesting "brownshoe" and I'm not disputing you because you may be right about that. But what I do know is that from guys I've talked to on at least 3 forums that had the serrated version of the Ayoob told me that because of the belly and overall blade geometry it was the very best fully serrated knife Spyderco ever made.

Low sales and great performance aren't mutually exclusive. I remember seeing Ayoobs in the SMKW catalog for years at crazy low prices. It takes a certain kind to like the Ayoob design. It takes a different certain kind to appreciate serrated edges. The subset of the two is pretty small. I love serrated edges but have no desire to own an Ayoob at all.

I'm still hoping for a Para 2 in fully serrated. I'm committed to buying a dozen if it will help the cause. If I had the bucks I would commission my own sprint run, keep 20 and sell the others on eBay.

I'm with you on this one E. I carry a serrated Spydies at least once a week and usually carry one of my sprint P2s the other days. A SE P2 would be the coolest thing since sliced bread and I think a sprint would sell fine.

I have always loved the comparatively light weight but extremely ridgid construction of the Paramilitary and Military models both. I've had both models in full SE and I dearly miss the 440V full SE version of the C-36 Military model a lot and wish they would make both of them available again.

But I'm not stopping there because there are other models that would perform well in full SE. But the Military and Paramilitary models are both super in full Spyderedge.

There are other obivious models that would shine in full SE would be Jason Breeden's RESCUE Model.
