Howdy folks!
I love my Spyderfly and decided to buy one for my friend. Out of the package the safe handle was extremely stiff which was not the case with mine. I loosend the skrew, cleaned it with WD-40 and then oiled it, but that didn't help at all. I figured it might have some dry oil buildup in there so I took the handle off and saw that the problem was that it didn't fit together properly.
I would like to send it back to them for repair or replacement. Being that I had to disassemble the knife to find the problem, it is no longer under warranty correct? I'm hoping that it still is. I disassemble my other Spyderfly for cleaning frequently without any problems.
