When I started this thread, I had just ordered my third and fourth Spydercos.

Later I posted that I had ordered my fifth and sixth.

Well, I'm bringing it back up because I just ordered numbers seven, eight, nine and ten:

Scorpius, Blue PE Dodo, Stainless Dragonfly and a Lime Green Jester.

My problem is getting worse.... tee hee hee.

Anybody else here (like I have to ask ) addicted to Spydercos? What was your first, and were you as enthralled as me?

For the most part, Spydercos are the only knives I buy now. The design of Spyderco knives seem to be driven by performance and functionality; exactly what I look for in a knife.

My first Spyderco was a 50/50 Endura. I had a credit at a sporting goods store and couldn't find anything else I wanted. It was my first "real" knife, and I was extremely impressed. After that, I upgraded to a Military and have been buying more Spydercos ever since.

Let's see (starting in spring 2002, as I recall):

Delica, Endura, 'nother Delica, Moran, Salsa, Native III, Native, MeerKat, 'nother Delica (SE - all other PE so far), 50/50 Endura used, Mini-Dyad used, older Native , 'nother MeerKat...yep - looks like a pattern

oops - forgot: 2 Dragonflys, a Standard that I traded for, then traded away..
