While I LOVE my Spydies, for the price they are going to charge for the friction folder you can get a custom friction folder. I've seen quite a few around the same price point.

Sigh... All these colabs are pricy.

Yeah the friction folder is pricey for what it is. I was excited about it at first but I realized I can just make a friction folder if I want to. So I did:)

How is Spyderco's warranty? I have a navaja in there for a broken carracca, and last check up, they told me it would be sent out the first of February. Nothing came back so far, and my email has gone unreplied for around a week?

I have a knife in there getting worked on also. I sent it out two weeks ago. They're currently on a 3 week turnaround. I haven't received any emails since I sent it out.

After some BS, I decided to drop the group. It should run fine on its own. Thanks fellas.

Well man I'm...sorry that you can't be around here any more, and thank you for all the help making this group happen, I hope there's no hard feelings between us or any thing.........

Best of luck

I will be starting a new sign up thread shortly the old one will be closed...

Also link will be aded when it's up.

Hah, I might still be around, just not part of the group as I apparently cannot represent it as well as I could. I learned that I prefer to not be labeled as it stops me from saying what is on my mind without some thinking I am biased towards Spyderco which I don't think I am. I was warned by a couple of members that this is why they don't want to join. Seems in my case, they were right. You guys know that I'm into any brand that makes a knife I like, not just Spyderco. Niner, you mah boy! Thanks for helping me put the group together. No hard feelings I promise ;)

Are there any knife makers out there that are hugely popular but you think are butt ugly? I have a couple, Emerson and Strider. This is purely from an aesthetics perspective, I have never held either of them in my hands. I am sure they are both great knives but they just don't float my boat I guess.

I am a big fan of all three of the major, high-quality US production folder businesses. I don't see any reason not to be part of a group if it is a company I support. Can't say I like every model that Spyderco, Benchmade, and Kai produce, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be part of their enthusiast groups.
