I want to have a spydie hole drilled into my large Inkosi. Blasphemy I know! I’ve seen on another thread that someone used USA Man Gear. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? Are there any other recommendations to have this done?

I would pay good money for factory or mod version of that knife. Gorgeous and smart. Like a supermodel with a genius brain. Kate Upton with a brain swap from Mae West.

Am I right to assume that they are using the thumb stud hole as a pilot hole and just making it bigger? That should be plenty strong for anything you’re going to use that knife for. To really wrench on that thing to break it

I had a spydiekosi... The thumb studs are better IMO. Will void your warranty too. It was coolish... But hard on the finger and not really very flickable. YMMV. Just seemed like the wrong platform for the hole.

Doesn’t flicking the knife also void your warranty? Or is that fine now that Chris isn’t in charge?

Lol to almost everyone. And I have A LOT of spydercos. Big fan!!! Also, not worried about warranties with this one, these knives last a lifetime because of the quality and extreme tolerances. Also, they are extremely simple to maintain, there are so few parts that there really isn’t much that can go wrong.

Have lots of Spydercos, really like them. Want my Inkosi to have a hole, not that complicated. Lol.
I feel the exact same way. I have lots of Spydercos and love them. I don’t have a CRK because it doesn’t have a Spydie hole. At this point it’s a dealbreaker for me. I looked into this a few years back and it seemed there was a company out there that offered CRK with a Spydie hole and relieved frame. I never did figure out if they were legit or counterfeit. If they were legit I can’t believe CRK wouldn’t have hit them with a cease and desist.

It was ManGearUSA but they don’t seem to exist any longer and I can’t find much about them other than a few Reddit mentions.

chris was talking about the type of flick where you put a lot of wrist into it and it slams open. Which you would have to do about 10,000 times to break damage the stop pin.
