Spydiechef or sebenza

If had the money for a CRK, I would use it towards something else, like a Hinderer Firetac.

Never saw what was so special about the sebenza, which is why I didn't keep mine long.

If I had to pick between only those two, Spydiechef all the way.

Having both, I daily my Sebenza and I have for the past two years. The spydiechef is still a great knife and I carried it regularly before the Sebenza.

CNC machining has been a huge boon to manufacturers, resulting in amazing precision and quality. My GB2 is so close to my Sebbie 21 in terms of precise fit and finish it would be about impossible to say which has the higher standard of manufacturing. Comes down to a choice of materials, weight, durability, geometry, price... only you can decide.

I have 3 sebenzas and sold my spydiechefs... but this is mainly due to thiking the seb will be a knife i still like in 10 years, heirloom kinda thing...

But I honestly think the chef is functionally a much better knife than the sebenza, and not just gor food, also for whittling, cardboard, anything i ever cut with it...

Spydiechef is a unique shape while sebenza is more multi purpose, which is ideal for general use, while the chef is ideal for slicing and fine cutting

I have both. I carry a sebenza regularly - at least 2 or 3 times a week. The Spydiechef has not yet found it’s way into my pocket. Nothing “wrong” with it, just prefer others (like the sebenza).

No bad choice here, both are great knives.. buy the one you think you'll like best. If you're anything like me, you'll end up with the other one in a week or two anyway..

For what it's worth, if you put a gun to my head and told me to pick just one.. Sebenza.

Apples and oranges.

Really not comparable in any respect but If you can't afford a Sebenza that rules it out automatically. On the other hand, if you can afford a Sebenza and also like the SpydieChef, then I see no reason why you can't buy them both.

I can afford a Sebenza but I don't like it enough to pay what people are asking for it. So, I just own a SpydieChef.
